The Role

• Provide in-person, online, or hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science for young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Support pupils across KS1-KS5 with planning and delivering trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan lessons, report on progress, and provide regular feedback to students.
• Work flexibly to accommodate your schedule, with opportunities for part-time or full-time hours.
• Collaborate with local authorities and schools to support disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
• A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity with teaching core subjects: Maths, English, and/or Science.
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices and creating a safe learning environment.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and proof of right to work in the UK.
• Professional references.
