Job Description

Position: Data Security Architect L3

Location: Washington DC

Contract

 

Required Skills:

1.           SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

A.           Privacy and Compliance Expertise:

a.           Hands on experience with privacy and data protection technologies.

b.           Extensive experience with OneTrust technologies, including core privacy modules and OneTrust Developer Portal.

c.           Experience with Collibra and is able to leverage the platform for sensitive information management and workflows.

d.           Proficiency in configuring and customizing OneTrust modules to meet organizational requirements.

e.           Hands-on experience with the development of data mapping and inventory management.

f.            In-depth knowledge of data privacy frameworks and regulations.

g.           Experience with Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) database queries and reports.

B.           Solution Architecture:

a.           Expertise in designing end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements and align with enterprise architecture standards.

b.           Ability to create high-level and detailed architecture diagrams, including system, data, and process flows.

c.           Proficiency in using architecture modeling tools such as iGrafx, Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or similar.

d.           Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar.

e.           Experience in developing and maintaining enterprise architecture artifacts, including principles, standards, and guidelines.

f.            Ability to align IT strategy with business goals and objectives.

C.           Azure Technologies:

a.           Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.

b.           Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Data Bricks, and other relevant Microsoft technologies.

c.           Expertise in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures.

d.           Knowledge of Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Azure Policy.

D.          Database Experience:

a.           Expertise in SQL Server, including database design, development, and optimization.

b.           Proficiency in database migration, backup, and recovery strategies.

c.           Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.

E.           API Integration and Development:

a.           Strong experience in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful and SOAP APIs.

b.           Experience in integrating OneTrust with other systems and applications using OneTrust APIs.

c.           Proficiency in API management tools such as Azure API Management.

d.           Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth and JWT.

e.           Experience with API documentation tools like Swagger/OpenAPI.

F.           Power BI:

a.           Strong experience in designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards.

b.           Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query.

c.           Ability to integrate Power BI with various data sources, including SQL databases, Excel, and cloud services.

d.           Knowledge of Power BI administration and security best practices.

G.          General Technical Skills:

a.           Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

b.           Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, .Net, JavaScript, Python, or similar.

c.           Hands-on experience with technologies such as Informatica, Oracle, ADLS, PL/SQL, Dremio, Dynamics CRM, and Excel.

d.           Experience with version control systems like Git.

e.           Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

H.          Soft Skills:

a.           Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

b.           Ability to lead technical discussions and present solutions to stakeholders.

c.           Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

d.           Proven ability to mentor and guide junior team members.

e.           Experience leading large and complex development teams.

f.            Outstanding leadership, collaboration, communication, strong analytical, oral, and written communication, documentation, problem-solving, and presentation skills.

 

I.            Additional Requirements:

a.           Professional Experience:

i.            8+ years of hands-on experience with privacy technology architecture, design, and development.

ii.           Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.

b.           Certifications:

i.            Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT), and or Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) is REQUIRED.

ii.           Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly desirable.
