AI Product Owner

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AI Product Owner to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of AI-powered products and solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge business needs, product strategy, data, and AI/ML engineering teams to deliver scalable and measurable AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the AI product vision, roadmap, backlog, and priorities.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to identify and define AI/GenAI use cases.
• Translate business requirements into clear epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements.
• Partner with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Software Engineers, and Architects to drive end-to-end AI product delivery.
• Define and track KPIs, success metrics, adoption, quality, and ROI for AI products.
• Prioritize features based on business value, technical feasibility, customer impact, and risk.
• Support development of GenAI, LLM, RAG, conversational AI, and intelligent automation solutions.
• Collaborate on AI model evaluation, prompt quality, response accuracy, hallucination reduction, and overall product performance.
• Work with engineering teams on APIs, data pipelines, integrations, and cloud-based AI platforms.
• Ensure AI solutions meet requirements for security, privacy, governance, responsible AI, and compliance.
• Conduct stakeholder demos, product reviews, roadmap discussions, and sprint planning.
• Manage product backlog and coordinate delivery across Agile/Scrum teams.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities and communicate them effectively to leadership.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, or Business Analysis.
• Experience working on AI/ML, Generative AI, or data-driven products.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, AI agents, and model evaluation.
• Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, PRDs, and product requirements.
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience and hands-on experience managing product backlogs.
• Experience working with cross-functional engineering, data, and business teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate complex AI/technical concepts into clear business requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Anthropic, or similar AI platforms.
• Knowledge of Python, APIs, vector databases, embeddings, and cloud platforms.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, analytics, or data platforms.
• Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI, model monitoring, and evaluation frameworks.
• Experience delivering enterprise AI solutions from concept through production.
