Job Description

We are seeking a Business Data Analyst with strong SQL and Databricks expertise to bridge business and technical teams, ensuring seamless collaboration between the MCDB (SQL) and DEAL (Databricks) platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between the MCDB (SQL) and DEAL (Databricks) teams.
• Analyze SQL code, understand business logic, and translate requirements for downstream enhancements using AI-assisted analysis where applicable.
• Collaborate with Reference Data architects, technical leads, and business stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements.
• Support Reference Data initiatives within the Databricks ecosystem.
• Drive adoption of new technologies through effective stakeholder engagement and influence.
• Prepare business requirements, functional documentation, and ensure alignment between business and technical teams.

Required Skills

• Strong SQL expertise with the ability to analyze and interpret complex SQL code.
• Good understanding of the Databricks ecosystem and Reference Data concepts.
• Experience working with data engineering and analytics teams.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven leadership and collaboration skills in enterprise environments.
