SEN / SEND Tutor | Winsford, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are seeking dedicated educators to join a community-focused organization committed to transforming the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact through flexible and rewarding tutoring roles.

The Role

• Provide in-person, online, or hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 - KS5, referred by local authorities and schools.
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring sessions.
• Report on lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Work with learners experiencing a range of needs including MLD, SLD, and PMLD.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for vulnerable young people.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• 2+ years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Knowledge of safeguarding principles and creating safe learning environments.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed).
• UK right to work.
