Job Title: Senior SQL Database Administrator

Location: Washington, DC (Remote)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification


Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior SQL DBA to support and maintain enterprise database environments across SQL Server, SQL Cluster, Oracle, and related database technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for database administration, troubleshooting, maintenance, patching, High Availability (HA), and Disaster Recovery (DR) activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive SQL database administration, development, and maintenance.
  • Manage SQL Server and SQL Cluster environments.
  • Create and manage standalone SQL and Oracle databases.
  • Monitor database environments and identify, troubleshoot, and triage issues.
  • Perform server maintenance, software installations, and patching.
  • Maintain High Availability (HA) systems.
  • Execute and support Disaster Recovery (DR) protocols.
  • Troubleshoot SQL, Oracle, and MS Access database issues.
  • Support database and application-level integrations.
  • Perform database configuration and ongoing operational support.
  • Work independently and collaborate with technical and business teams.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and management at all levels.
