We deliver software, IT infrastructure and broader business process solutions and as such you’ll need to be able to demonstrate credibility in this space.

Responsibilities include:

  • Line manage and support delivery colleagues, including delivery line managers, through check-ins, objectives, development and routine people processes
  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and team training for delivery roles
  • Act as the first level of project escalation, escalating material risks to the Operations Lead
  • Manage resource allocation, capacity forecasting and operational trackers
  • Oversee project governance, the RAID dashboard, mobilisation and closure
  • Ensure customer concerns are owned and resolved, and keep teams informed with clear delivery updates
  • Promote compliance with HSE, ISO and information-security requirements, and support timesheet, finance and procurement administration
  • Experience managing or supervising delivery teams in a technology, project, service or professional services environment
  • A practical understanding of project or service delivery, including plans, actions, risks, reporting and governance routines
  • Experience supporting colleagues through regular check-ins, onboarding, development activity and day-to-day performance conversations
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to coordinate workloads, priorities and actions across several teams or assignments
  • Confidence working with Project and Service Managers and raising concerns constructively when delivery support is required
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarise progress, issues and required actions
  • Sound judgement, including an understanding of when an issue can be resolved within the team and when it should be escalated
  • A collaborative, supportive management style combined with a clear focus on accountability and follow-through
  • Comfort working with operational data, trackers and standard reporting tools

At Sword, our core values and culture are based on caring about our people, investing in training and career development, and building inclusive teams where we are all encouraged to contribute to achieve success. We offer comprehensive benefits designed to support your professional development and enhance your overall quality of life.  In addition to a Competitive Salary, here's what you can expect as part of our benefits package:
