Job Description

Software Asset Management (SAM) Analyst

Looking for an experienced SAM professional with hands-on experience using ServiceNow SAM Pro. The role will focus on software renewals, licence management, data quality, optimisation and supporting wider SAM activity.

£500-£575 per day (via umbrella) Depending on experience
3 month initial contract
Hybrid - Eastleigh, potentially 1-2 days per week onsite



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage software renewals end-to-end, including licence analysis, stakeholder engagement, approvals, POs and renewal confirmation.
  • Maintain accurate software contracts, entitlements, applications and asset records within ServiceNow SAM Pro.
  • Analyse licence usage to identify optimisation, compliance and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support application ownership and Ageas/esure integration activity.
  • Reconcile contracts, invoices, quotes and supplier data to support renewal governance.
  • Provide guidance to junior analysts and produce reporting on renewals, risks and optimisation.


Key Experience Required

  • Must have Software Asset Management (SAM) experience.
  • Strong hands-on ServiceNow SAM Pro experience
  • Experience managing software renewals, licences, entitlements and contracts.
  • Strong data analysis, reconciliation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Financial Services experience desirable (but not a must have)
