PCB Layout Engineer

Pay Range: $36 - $37/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• We are seeking an experienced PCB Layout Engineer with 5+ years of experience in Altium Designer and multilayer PCB design.
• The candidate should have strong knowledge of PCB stack-up, component placement, routing, fabrication/assembly drawings, and manufacturing requirements.
• Design multilayer PCBs for analog, digital, power, control, and mixed-signal applications using Altium Designer.
• Develop PCB stack-ups, component placement, and routing.
• Apply SI/PI, EMI/EMC, creepage, and clearance best practices.
• Generate fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, Gerber/ODB++, and manufacturing files.
• Perform DRC, layout reviews, and design verification.
• Apply DFM, DFA, and DFT principles.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams.
• Support prototype builds, engineering changes, and production releases.
• Maintain PCB libraries, footprints, and 3D models.
• Ensure compliance with IPC standards and company quality requirements.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Experience: 5+ Years
• Education: Bachelor s Degree
• 5+ years of PCB layout/design experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Altium Designer.
• Experience with multilayer PCB layouts and PCB stack-up.
• Knowledge of PCB fabrication and assembly processes.
• Experience with Gerber, ODB++, DRC, DFM/DFA/DFT.
• Understanding of SI/PI and EMI/EMC.
• Bachelor s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
