Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Record to Report (R2R) Architect / Finance Solution Architect to support enterprise finance transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong functional and solution architecture experience across SAP Finance, Record-to-Report processes, SAP S/4HANA, General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Accounts Payable/Receivable, financial close, and financial reporting.

The Finance Solution Architect will work closely with finance stakeholders, business process owners, SAP functional teams, technical teams, and implementation partners to design scalable solutions and ensure successful implementation of end-to-end R2R processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture and functional design for end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.

• Design and implement finance solutions using SAP S/4HANA Finance / SAP FICO.

• Support General Ledger, Financial Accounting, Asset Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and financial close processes.

• Analyze existing finance processes and develop scalable future-state solutions aligned with business requirements.

• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, process design, solution workshops, and functional design activities.

• Define finance solution architecture, integration requirements, configuration strategies, and functional specifications.

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing and reporting processes.

• Work closely with P2P, O2C, Controlling, Procurement, Supply Chain, Treasury, Tax, and other business functions to ensure end-to-end process integration.

• Support SAP S/4HANA implementation, transformation, migration, or optimization initiatives.

• Provide guidance on SAP configuration, master data, financial postings, organizational structures, and reporting requirements.

• Support integration between SAP Finance and other SAP/non-SAP applications.

• Participate in data migration, testing, UAT, cutover, go-live, and post-production support activities.

• Identify process gaps, integration issues, risks, and opportunities for finance process improvement.

• Develop solution documentation, process flows, functional specifications, architecture documents, and implementation recommendations.

• Provide architectural guidance and functional leadership to business analysts, SAP consultants, developers, and integration teams.

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to resolve complex finance and accounting process issues.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with SAP Record-to-Report (R2R / RTR) processes.

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance and SAP FICO.

• Strong understanding of General Ledger (GL), Asset Accounting (AA), AP, AR, financial close, and financial reporting.

• Experience as a Finance Solution Architect, SAP Finance Architect, SAP FICO Architect, or R2R Architect.

• Experience with end-to-end SAP implementation or finance transformation projects.

• Strong understanding of integration between FI/CO and MM, SD, Procurement, Supply Chain, and other SAP modules.

• Experience with requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and implementation.

• Experience supporting data migration, interfaces/integrations, UAT, cutover, and go-live activities.

• Strong understanding of accounting and enterprise finance business processes.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation or implementation programs.

• Experience designing global or enterprise-level finance solutions.

• Knowledge of SAP Central Finance, Group Reporting, or related S/4HANA Finance capabilities is an advantage.

• SAP S/4HANA Finance or SAP FICO certification is preferred.

• Experience working in complex manufacturing or enterprise environments is desirable.
