Enterprise ITSM & Asset Operations Lead Onsite Annapolis Junction, MD | US Citizenship Required | Travel (less than 10%) Clearance level: Active TS/SCI with Poly Summary

Responsibilities
The Enterprise ITSM & Asset Operations Lead acts as the primary steward for technology lifecycle management, procurement validation, and operational governance across the enterprise IT ecosystem. In this role, you will facilitate cross-disciplinary Change Advisory Board (CAB) reviews by rigorously auditing digital change requests and technical risk profiles.

Leveraging ServiceNow, you will architect and maintain the integrity of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), tracking hardware, server, storage, and appliance assets from initial deployment through safe decommissioning. Additionally, you will drive technology acquisition and renewal pipelines—validating quotes, managing software entitlement accuracy, navigating security and purchasing compliance, and serving as a key operational liaison for major OEM partners like Microsoft, Cisco, Dell, HPE, and Oracle. Requirements

• Hands-on experience in enterprise IT operations, asset tracking, configuration management, or ITSM frameworks.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow or a comparable enterprise service management toolset.
• Solid understanding of hardware/software lifecycles, CMDB structures, and change control processes.
• Ability to translate complex engineering inputs into accurate system records, financial quotes, and operational reports.
• Meticulous attention to detail regarding inventories, licensing entitlements, configuration states, and procurement docs.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate independently across engineers, vendors, procurement, and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience utilizing ServiceNow Asset Management, CMDB, or ITAM modules.
• Familiarity facilitating or participating in Change Advisory Board (CAB) reviews.
• Exposure to managing hardware and software support agreements and annual vendor renewals.
• Understanding of enterprise software entitlements, licensing compliance, and usage auditing.
• Experience navigating IT acquisition workflows and liaising with major OEMs (e.g., Cisco, Dell, HPE, Microsoft, Oracle).
• Background supporting mission-critical, high-security, or government IT ecosystems.

Ability to generate custom CMDB queries, operational dashboards, and asset metrics. Education/Certification Requirements

• Level II 8570 Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) Clearance Requirements
• Active TS/SCI w/Poly
