Job Description

Golding is currently seeking an experienced and strategic Principal Cyber Advisor to join our team and lead the continuous improvement of our cyber security capability. Reporting to the GM Technology, this role will act as Golding's trusted cyber security expert, partnering across the business to strengthen cyber resilience, manage risk, and drive secure business outcomes.

This is an exciting opportunity for a cyber security professional who is passionate about governance, risk, assurance and strategic security leadership, and who enjoys influencing stakeholders across an operational environment.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead cyber risk management, assurance activities, audits and the continuous improvement of Golding's Information Security Management System.
  • Develop and maintain cyber governance frameworks, policies, standards, reporting and compliance practices.
  • Drive Golding's Cyber Security Roadmap, maturity improvements and strategic security initiatives.
  • Provide security-by-design guidance across technology, data, procurement and business projects.
  • Strengthen cyber incident response, recovery, resilience and organisational preparedness capabilities.
  • Act as Golding's trusted cyber security advisor, partnering with business leaders, NRW and external stakeholders.
  • Build cyber awareness and promote a culture of informed risk management across the organisation.
What You'll Bring
  • Significant experience in cyber security, information security governance, risk and compliance, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining cyber security frameworks, policies and management systems.
  • Strong understanding of cyber risk management, assurance, security controls and relevant standards such as ISO 27001, NIST or equivalent frameworks.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and communicate complex cyber risks in a clear and practical manner.
  • Experience leading audits, assessments, incident preparedness activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and industry certifications (such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor or similar) will be highly regarded.
