Control Systems & SCADA Engineer

Our client is seeking a Control Systems and SCADA Engineer to support an important nuclear-sector project. This contract role is suited to an experienced EC&I engineer with strong SCADA software, PLC programming and ladder logic skills. The position is predominantly home-based, with occasional travel to France and an immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing, configuring and programming control systems and SCADA applications<br />Writing and modifying PLC programmes using ladder logic software<br />Supporting EC&amp;I activities across a technically complex nuclear project<br />Testing, troubleshooting and resolving control system and PLC issues<br />Collaborating with engineering and project teams to deliver reliable automation solutions<br />Providing technical input during project delivery and system integration activities<br />Attending occasional project meetings or site activities in France, where required Job

Requirements:

Active UK Security Check (SC) clearance is essential<br />Knowledge of AWE projects or previously worked at AWE<br />Experience in control systems, SCADA and EC&amp;I engineering<br />Strong PLC programming skills, including ladder logic software<br />Understanding of industrial automation, instrumentation and electrical control systems<br />Experience in nuclear, defence or another highly regulated engineering environment<br />Ability to troubleshoot complex control system issues and work independently<br />Willingness to travel to France occasionally, potentially around once per month Contract Details: Six-month contract with potential for extension<br />Predominantly home-based working arrangement<br />Full-time commitment of 40 hours per week<br />Occasional travel to France may be required<br />Immediate start available<br />If you are an SC-cleared Control Systems and SCADA Engineer with PLC programming experience, apply now to support this significant nuclear-sector project
