Business Systems Analyst

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst. You will report to the IT Manager and utilize our business systems to maximize productivity and communication.  You will work closely with our subsidiary and functional teams to create workflows and ensure the business process within our systems. You will also work closely with the Change & Configuration Management Engineer to ensure the integrity of business documentation.

Business Systems Analyst Job Description:

• Facilitate and improve productivity and communication for all functional teams by utilizing business systems.

• Collaborate with all functional teams, including engineering, operations, R&D, supply chain, Business Development and HR to evaluate and improve business procedures.
• Work with the Change & Configuration Management Engineer to ensure approved changes are appropriately documented within the business systems. (NetSuite – SolidWorks PDM)
• Analyze the potential risks and benefits of existing business processes.
• Collaborate with Finance, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to configure and optimize NetSuite, to support the existing practices and improve efficiency.
• Optimize all NetSuite integrations with other software systems.
• Customize SharePoint to assist with business processes.
• Work closely with the functional teams including the Communications team to administer the SharePoint intranet site.   

• 3 plus years of NetSuite ERP administration. 
• 3 plus years of SharePoint administration.
• 3 plus years of SolidWorks / PDM experience.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, Power apps, and Forms.
• Strong understanding of product life cycle and PLM systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee has potential for exposure to hazardous chemicals and/or hazardous waste, extremely high temperatures, occasional exposure to moving equipment the risks of which are minimized through compliance with the use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and established safety policies and procedures. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Additional Information You will be working in a small team environment where teamwork and good relationships with other team members is critical. We operate pilot plants and labs and many of our staff members are required to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and you should be prepared to do so as well when necessary.
