Hospice Sales Manager

Albuquerque, NM (Territory: Albuquerque and Las Cruces, New Mexico)
Compensation: $125,000 to $135,000 per year

A hospice provider serving the Albuquerque and Las Cruces markets is hiring an experienced sales leader to manage its community liaison and hospice sales team. This role leads day to day field sales activity, coaches liaisons on referral development and census growth, and partners with local operations and regional sales leadership to execute market strategy.

Schedule
Full time, field based role covering the Albuquerque and Las Cruces markets. Regular travel within the territory is required. 

Compensation
$125,000 to $135,000 per year.

What You'll Do

This role leads day to day field sales activity for hospice community liaisons across the assigned New Mexico markets, with direct responsibility for coaching, training and supporting sales staff on target accounts, referral activity, account management and census growth. The manager tracks sales activity, visit frequency, referral trends and key performance metrics, and partners with operations and regional sales leadership on sales strategy, market execution and program growth. The role also supports recruiting, onboarding and development of new or growth related liaison and sales positions, and monitors market trends, competition and referral source opportunities within the territory.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sales management experience
• Minimum 4 years of healthcare sales or community liaison experience
• Demonstrated understanding of hospice regulations
• Proven success growing local or regional patient census
• Experience managing field sales accountability, sales metrics and team development
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and current auto insurance

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior hospice sales leadership experience
• Experience managing community liaisons, hospice sales representatives or referral development teams
• Strong local market knowledge of Albuquerque and/or Las Cruces
• Experience partnering with operations and sales leadership on market and portfolio sales strategy
