Description
A growing financial services and retail-focused organization is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support and enhance enterprise network infrastructure across multiple locations. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and optimizing complex network environments that support critical business operations.
POSITION TITLE: Senior Network Engineer
LOCATION: Fort Worth, TX
SALARY: $120,000 - $130,000 (DOE)
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN environments.
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and implement improvements to maximize reliability and uptime.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to gather business requirements and develop scalable networking solutions.
  • Support network expansion initiatives, technology upgrades, and capacity planning efforts across multiple locations.
  • Configure and administer network security solutions while ensuring compliance with industry and organizational standards.
  • Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to integrate network services and support business-critical applications.

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, administration, or infrastructure support.
  • Strong expertise designing and supporting enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, and VPN technologies.
  • Experience managing and troubleshooting F5 BIG-IP technologies, including LTM, ASM, and DNS/GTM.
  • Knowledge of routing and switching protocols including OSPF, BGP, DNS, DHCP, and NTP.
  • Experience working within regulated or security-focused environments, including PCI-compliant organizations.
  • Familiarity with Cisco networking platforms, including IOS and Nexus environments.
  • Experience supporting network security technologies such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar solutions.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
  • CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or related networking certifications preferred.
