My client is an instantly recognisable consultancy who require a CMDB Application Developer & Reporting Specialist with Active SC clearance to design, develop, and maintain a centralized Configuration Management Database (CMDB) solution supporting critical IT Service Management (ITSM) processes for an end client within the Defence space.
The successful candidate will be responsible for application development, CMDB governance, automated data collection, dashboard creation, KPI reporting, and analytics. This role will play a key part in improving service quality, operational efficiency, compliance, and configuration governance across a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Design, develop and maintain a centralized CMDB application supporting IT Service Management and Configuration Management processes.
• Develop user-friendly interfaces, workflows and automation to manage the full Configuration Item (CI) life cycle.
• Integrate multiple data sources through APIs, connectors and automated data collection mechanisms to ensure CMDB accuracy and consistency.
• Define and maintain CMDB data models, CI relationships, governance controls, service mapping and asset inventories.
• Build and maintain operational and executive dashboards, KPI frameworks, SLA reporting and Real Time performance monitoring.
• Deliver automation for notifications, compliance monitoring, exception management and CMDB health reporting.
• Utilize technologies such as ServiceNow, Remedy CMDB, Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, AppSheet, BigQuery, Looker Studio, SQL, Python and JavaScript.
• Demonstrate strong experience in CMDB/ITSM environments, including ITIL, Asset Management, Configuration Management, Discovery and Data Governance, with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
