Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Specialize in functional coatings to meet global design and performance objectives; create specifications with design and performance targets, application recommendations, and root cause analysis of non-conformances.
Work closely with paint/coating suppliers and decorative finishes suppliers in developing new technology and colors within approved coating technologies.
Create or modify each commodity/material standard specifications.
Participate in new model launches, color development, and engineering changes requiring material validation.
Provide technical direction for coatings/decorative finishes and initiate sustainable initiatives and innovative material developments.
