2nd Line Engineer

Our client, a leading Managed Services Provider is seeking a strong 2nd Line Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Due to an exciting period of growth our client is looking to add a 2nd Line Engineer to their team ,where you will join a knowledgeable and experienced team of Engineers, providing a high-level of technical support and project support to a range of clients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a 2nd Line role. You will preferably come from a Managed Services background, however those with the right experience from other industries will be considered. This role is office-based and will require candidates to have access to their own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a highlevel of day-to-day support and project support to a range of clients, both remotely and on-site when required
• Act as an escalation point for other Engineers
• Ensure tickets and tasks are completed within correct SLAs
• Provide suitable advice to clients, ensuring customer service levels are maintained at all times
• Comfortable working in a fastpaced environment, managing multiple tickets and clients whilst ensuring accuracy is maintained at all times Key Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a 2nd Line role, ideally from an MSP environment although other industries will be strongly considered
• Excellent communicator, confident working with colleagues and clients of all levels
• Windows Server
• VOIP knowledge, preferably 3CX
• Good networking capabilities – DNS / Routing / Switching
• Office 365 Setup and Administration
• Group Policy administration
• VMware / HyperV
• Exposure to Cisco / Draytek firewalls would be advantageous This is an excellent opportunity for a 2nd Line Engineer to join a leading MSP in their field.
