Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with 11+ years of experience in software quality assurance, test automation, framework development, and CI/CD. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust automation solutions, improving testing efficiency, mentoring QA engineers, and ensuring high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for web, API, mobile, and backend applications.
• Develop automation scripts using Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
• Build and maintain Page Object Model (POM) and data-driven/hybrid automation frameworks.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, smoke, sanity, and system testing.
• Develop and execute API automation using Rest Assured, Postman, or similar tools.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Work with Git and follow best practices for source-code management.
• Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and work closely with developers to resolve defects.
• Create and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and automation documentation.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and DevOps teams.
• Perform database validation using SQL and verify backend data.
• Implement test reporting, logging, screenshots, and automation dashboards.
• Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, execution time, and overall QA processes.
• Mentor junior and mid-level QA engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Participate in release validation and production-quality assessments.

• Experience testing microservices and cloud-based applications.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
• Knowledge of performance tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Experience with Jira, ALM, Azure Boards, or similar test-management tools.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and SDLC/STLC.
• Experience leading QA automation initiatives and mentoring team members.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 11+ years of overall QA/testing experience, with strong hands-on automation experience.
