The GA Lead will manage the General Accountants team in Bangalore and will be responsible for processing clear reconciliations and a group of reports on behalf of multiple entities around the group in multiple regions. This is an integral role and requires accurate execution, and a strong attention to detail and a good understanding of the figures.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage a team of 6-8 members to address all performance issues
  • Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Develop, produce, and review various business reports
  • Support the month-end closing
  • Participate in process improvement activities
  • Review Inter-company reconciliations and work with GSSC to generate missing postings
  • Take ownership of various balance sheet reconciliations and working capital management
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of financial postings and appropriate reflection of business activity.
  • Act as a key finance business partner to regional controllership and finance leadership teams, providing insight and challenge on P&L performance.
  • Support the month-end close process, ensuring all journals, accruals, and reconciliations are completed within agreed timelines.
  • Automation of routine finance processes, identifying opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
  • Contribute to wider finance transformation projects as required by the business.

Essential:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant/CPA/ACCA
  • Experience of working in Global Finance Shared Service
  • Management experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong excel and data handling skills
  • Familiar with Oracle ERP system
  • Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience of working to deadlines
  • Ability to challenge the numbers and explain variances
  • Must be a - CA Qualified/CPA/ACCA
  • Years of Experience- 7-11 Years
  • Desirable: · French language skills if possible
