Job Description

Position : Senior Java Developer – Stock Loan / Securities Lending
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid) only Locals 
Duration: Long Term Contract

Seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong hands-on experience in Stock Loan / Securities Lending.

Required Skills:

  • Strong Java, Microservices & Distributed Systems
  • REST APIs & GraphQL
  • MQ-based integrations
  • Hazelcast / Distributed Caching
  • EquiLend Loanet, Global One & DTCC
  • Stock Loan workflows: Borrow/Loan, Recalls, Returns, Rerates, Collateral & Settlement
  • Trade Matching, Reconciliation & Exception Management
  • L3 Production Support
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript; Vue.js is a plus
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor

Must Have: Strong Stock Loan / Securities Lending domain experience with hands-on third-party platform integration experience.
