cer Financial are working alongside a really warm international bank, who are based in London. They are seeking someone to work in their settlements team on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee daily settlement operations and ensure accurate treasury positions and deals.
2. Check and authorise payments and credit transactions within delegated limits.
3. Reconcile positions with dealers and verify payment confirmations.
4. Investigate and resolve bank-to-bank payment queries.
5. Cover customer services, including deposits, remittances and settlements.
6. Maintain customer relationships and deliver high-quality customer service.
7. Ensure compliance with AML, sanctions, internal policies and regulatory requirements.
8. Conduct sanctions screening and investigations using Fircosoft and Watch List systems.
9. Review and improve operational procedures and workflows.
10. Supervise, train and motivate staff to ensure efficient operations.

The candidate:

1. Experience in banking operations, ideally settlements and treasury.
2. Strong knowledge of payments, reconciliations and settlement processes.
3. Experience in customer services, deposits and remittances.
4. Understanding of AML, sanctions screening and regulatory compliance.
5. Experience with investigation tools such as Fircosoft is advantageous.
