Job Description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a company based on the outskirts of Ipswich who are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join their growing team. You will be responsible for developing sales and growing customer relationships across East Anglia.

This is a dynamic, customer-facing sales leadership position, offering the opportunity to grow new business, strengthen existing partnerships and drive commercial success.

Key Duties:

  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to deliver agreed revenue and margin targets.
  • Maximise growth within the existing customer base through proactive account management and commercial development.
  • Identify, pursue and convert new business opportunities across the region.
  • Gain a clear understanding of customer needs and work with the wider business to provide tailored product, service and commercial solutions.
  • Take ownership of key customer accounts, driving retention, growth and profitability.
  • Stay informed on competitor activity, market developments and changing customer needs to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive position.
  • Lead, motivate and develop a small telesales team, with telesales colleagues reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Partner closely with the telesales team to identify sales opportunities, generate leads, develop existing accounts and increase customer spend.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline, providing regular forecasts, reporting and insight on regional performance.

Previous Skills & Experience:

  • Experience within a B2B sales environment.
  • Beneficial to have previous experience managing and leading a telesales or sales team.
  • Consistent track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Confident in negotiating and influencing others, with a strong commercial mindset and sound business judgement.
  • Self-motivated and a clear communicator.
  • Full UK driving licence.
