we are a Tier 1 vendor for the City and County of San Francisco for Cloud Services, Staffing Services and Training Services. For this multi-year opportunity with a diverse set of needs to address, we are currently focusing on establishing partnerships with individuals as well as companies who can help us enhance our overall service portfolio, cut lead times, and ultimately help us deliver successfully. We currently hold sizable Government accounts in the San Francisco bay area including City and County of San Francisco, San Mateo County, and Santa Clara County.

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Implement and support projects as required to meet TS goals and objectives.
  • Implement, manage, maintain, and support the System Architecture solutions.
  • Provide 24x7x365 support resolution for enterprise hardware and software as needed.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedure (SOP) documentation.
  • Provide reports and metrics for performance analysis and growth planning.
  • Establish a Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedule and execute planned activities.
  • Provide technical and operational guidance to staff and contractors as needed.
  • Work onsite every day (M-F).
  • Perform related duties as directed

Mandatory Skills:

  1. B.S in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. OR
  2. High School Diploma with Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience working in an enterprise infrastructure environment in addition to the time required in the Minimum Qualifications.
  3. 1-2 years or more experience with basic deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of:
  1. Microsoft Server Platforms
  1. Windows Server 2019 / 2022 OS
  1. Microsoft Software Services
  1. Windows Desktop OS
  1. Microsoft Management Services
  1. Active Directory
  1. Understanding of physical Server hardware and storage concepts
  1. Dell PowerEdge, HP Proliant
  2. Compellent, Pure Storage, DataDomain ESXi
  1. Familiarity with VMware Virtualization and Management Platforms
  1. ESXi
  2. vCenter
  3. vSphere
  1. Familiarity with basic deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of:
  1. Microsoft Server Platforms: Basic Knowledge of Windows SQL Server
  2. Microsoft Software Services
  1. Understanding of Microsoft 365 User Management
  2. Understanding of Defender (or comparable security tools)
  1. Microsoft Management Services
  1. Some familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) or Intune
  2. Some familiarity with PowerShell and how it can be used
  1. Microsoft Azure Cloud Services, exposure to Microsoft Azure Services (Azure AD, basic governance concepts)
  2. Exchange - online or on prem
  3. Back up and Recovery solutions - Veeam or similar
  4. Ability to assist with data center tasks, including rack and stack of equipment
  5. Strong problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team environment
  6. Ability to lift up to 30lbs as part of hardware installation duties

Desirable Skills:

  1. VMWare vSAN.
  2. Wasabi Cloud.
  3. Azure Co-Pilot AI.
  4. Certificate Authorities.
  5. Disaster Recovery Services - testing, planning, and documenting.
  6. Working knowledge or experience with the following technologies:
  1. Recast
  2. ManageEngine
  3. ServiceNow
  4. SolarWinds
  5. Adobe
  1. General knowledge or experience with information security concepts and practices.
  2. General knowledge or experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS/PaaS).
  3. General knowledge or experience with Linux and DevOps technology stacks.
  4. General knowledge or experience with Container technology platforms.
  5. Basic understanding of emerging technologies and concepts such as AI/ML, IoT,
  6. etc.
  7. 1 or more Certifications from the following list (or equivalent):
  1. Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert.
  2. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  3. Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
  4. Vmware Certified Design Expert Data Center Virtualization (VCDX).
  5. VMware Certified Advanced Professional-Data Center Virtualization Design.
  6. VMware Certified Advanced Professional-Data Center Virtualization Deploy.
  7. VMware Certified Technical Associate (VCTA).
  8. VMware Certified Specialist vSAN 2024.
  9. Pure Storage Certified Platform Architect Expert.
  10. Pure Storage Certified FlashArray Storage Professional.
  11. Pure Storage Certified FlashArray Implementation Specialist.
  12. Pure Storage Certified Migration Specialist.
