POSITION OVERVIEW
The New York State Department of Financial Services is seeking an experienced Atlassian Administrator with expertise in Jira development, troubleshooting, user and access management, performance improvement, Confluence, DevOps methodologies, and technical documentation.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must clearly demonstrate the following experience:
60 months of experience developing in Atlassian Jira.
36 months of experience with Atlassian Confluence.
36 months of experience with DevOps methodologies.
60 months of experience troubleshooting Atlassian Jira.
60 months of experience managing users and access in Atlassian Jira.
60 months of experience monitoring and improving Atlassian Jira performance.
60 months of experience authoring and maintaining system technical documentation. Eligible experience includes:
Mapping business workflows
Documenting system integrations and automation rules
Creating administrator runbooks
Creating technical specifications
Creating user-facing guides within a centralized knowledge base such as Confluence
PREFERRED TECHNICAL SKILLS / KEYWORDS
Atlassian Jira, Jira development, Jira troubleshooting, Jira user management, Jira access management, Jira performance monitoring, Jira performance improvement, Atlassian Confluence, DevOps methodologies, business workflow mapping, system integrations, automation rules, administrator runbooks, technical specifications, user-facing guides, and centralized knowledge bases.
