Northeast Ohio SPCA–A No-Kill Pet Shelter in Parma, OH is seeking a full-time Shelter Veterinarian to join our team!
The Northeast Ohio SPCA Pet Shelter is committed to the care of pets in Northeast Ohio. This full-time, on-site role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of shelter animals by providing high-quality medical care and ensuring the smooth operation of the shelter's medical practices.

Who we are: Northeast Ohio SPCA is a no-kill, non-profit organization focused on giving shelter pets a second chance at life by providing a safe haven for abandoned, homeless, and adoptable pets until they can find a home. Through adoption, education, spay and neutering, we save lives to make euthanasia of healthy animals unnecessary.
About the area: Cleveland, one of Ohio’s major cities, and the largest city on Lake Erie anchor one of the most populous metropolitan areas in the United States. There are plenty of family-friendly activities to do throughout the city including lake days, museums, catching a Cavaliers NBA basketball game, or heading to Cedar Point Amusement Park. Cleveland has Ohio’s second-largest K-12 public school district, along with tons of private schools to choose from.
Requirements:
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Must obtain and maintain an active Ohio veterinary license prior to employment (assistance with license fees, association dues, and PLIT)
What we offer:
- $130-$165k | depending on experience
- $20,000 bonus
