About our client
Our client is a highly regarded private equity firm that is widely recognised as a leader within the mid-market space. They have a strong track record of partnering with ambitious founders and management teams, supporting their growth as they scale into market-leading businesses. They are looking to add an Investment Associate to their high-performing, entrepreneurial London-based team, where you can expect to take on a high level of responsibility across the full investment lifecycle. What the job involves

• Identifying new investment opportunities and building relationships with potential targets
• Hands-on involvement in transaction execution including all due diligence workstreams
• Preparing models and investment materials to be submitted to partners, the investment committee, portfolio companies, or external parties
• Supporting the investment committee on decision making
• Working closely with portfolio companies across various strategic and value creation initiatives, including M&A, international expansion, and AI enhancement
• Developing deep sector expertise across the business services space specifically

• Associate-level experience in mid-market investment banking
• Chartered accounting qualification would be beneficial
• Strong financial modelling, analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Compelling written and verbal communication skills
• Intellectually curious with excellent business judgment
• Entrepreneurial and a self-starter; keen to get involved throughout the entire deal process and interact with management teams
• Low-ego, collaborative and outgoing in nature
• Interest in AI implementation and independent adoption of AI tools
• Bachelor's degree from a top university
