Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data & Analytics Platform Scrum Master / Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead Agile delivery across enterprise data and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will coordinate multiple Agile teams, facilitate SAFe ceremonies, manage cross-team dependencies, mitigate delivery risks, and ensure predictable releases across data engineering, analytics, cloud infrastructure, and application teams.

The candidate should have proven experience in Release Train Engineer (RTE) or equivalent Agile Release Train (ART) leadership, along with exposure to enterprise data platforms and cloud technologies such as Snowflake, Teradata, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Amazon Redshift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Agile delivery across multiple teams working on enterprise Data & Analytics platforms.

  • Facilitate SAFe ceremonies, including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, ART Sync, sprint planning, retrospectives, and release planning.

  • Coordinate multiple Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Data Engineers, Data Architects, Data Analysts, and cloud engineering teams.

  • Manage cross-team dependencies, delivery risks, impediments, blockers, and program-level commitments.

  • Drive end-to-end delivery of data engineering, data integration, analytics modernization, and cloud migration initiatives.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to align program objectives, priorities, and delivery milestones.

  • Support backlog prioritization, feature planning, capacity management, and iteration execution.

  • Coordinate release planning, deployment schedules, cutover activities, change approvals, and production readiness.

  • Monitor Agile metrics, including velocity, burndown/burnup, cycle time, defect trends, release progress, and team capacity.

  • Maintain program plans, RAID logs, dependency trackers, delivery dashboards, and executive status reports.

  • Proactively identify risks and escalate issues that may affect delivery timelines, quality, or business outcomes.

  • Drive continuous improvement, coach Scrum Masters and Agile teams, and promote SAFe best practices.

  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration across technical teams, leadership, vendors, and business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications and Technical Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in Agile delivery, Scrum Master, project/program management, or technology leadership roles.

  • Proven experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE), Program Scrum Master, or equivalent ART-level leader.

  • Hands-on experience facilitating PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, ART Sync, and cross-team dependency management.

  • Experience coordinating multiple Agile teams in a complex enterprise environment.

  • Exposure to Data & Analytics platforms, data engineering, data integration, or cloud data modernization initiatives.

  • Working knowledge of technologies such as Snowflake, Teradata, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, PySpark, Amazon Redshift, or Databricks.

  • Understanding of cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

  • Experience with Agile delivery and reporting tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.

  • Strong understanding of release management, deployment coordination, change management, and production readiness.

  • Excellent facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, risk management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to prepare executive-level reports, manage delivery metrics, and communicate program status effectively.
