We are looking for an experienced Senior Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain advanced business intelligence solutions that transform complex data into meaningful insights. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and M language, with a focus on building high-quality reports, dashboards, data models, and analytical solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to translate business requirements into intuitive and performance-optimised BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI reports and interactive dashboards.
• Translate business and reporting requirements into effective BI solutions.
• Develop robust and scalable Power BI data models for analytical reporting.
• Create complex DAX measures, calculated columns, and calculations to support business requirements.
• Work extensively with filter context and row context in DAX.
• Use variables, iterators, and advanced DAX techniques to build sophisticated analytical solutions.
• Develop time-intelligence calculations for trend, period-over-period, and comparative analysis.
• Implement and maintain calculation groups where required.
• Optimise DAX expressions and Power BI models for improved report performance.
• Use Power Query and M language for data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and preparation.
• Identify and resolve performance issues across reports, data models, and DAX calculations.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, usability, and reliability of BI reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand analytical needs and refine reporting solutions.
• Maintain and enhance existing Power BI dashboards and reporting environments.
• Follow best practices for Power BI development, data modelling, DAX, visualisation, and report performance.
• Document BI solutions, data models, calculations, and reporting processes as required.

• 3–5 years of strong hands-on experience in Power BI development.
• Advanced expertise in Power BI report and dashboard development.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of DAX, including:
• Filter context and row context

• DAX performance optimisation
• Strong experience with Power Query and M language.
