Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Performance tuning of Unit4 Financials by Coda Pre and Post Go Live.
Troubleshoot performance issues across new implementations (Project) and existing implementations (BAU) of Unit4 Financials by Coda, this includes Technical and Application aspects.
Develop enhanced, proactive monitoring, detection and remediation of performance issues.
Develop proactive, continuous performance tuning and processes to maintain optimal performance levels.
Comply with the Company's information security requirements and all Company business procedures and policies.
Team Context
- One of three in the U4F by Coda team, alongside a Senior Performance & Optimisation Consultant and a Database Administrator.
- Together you deliver proactive performance and technical support before and after go live.
Location
This role is remote; customer visits may be required, and candidates must be willing to travel to on-site meetings as needed.
Experience, Skills
Good working knowledge of the Unit4 Financials by Coda application.
- 5+ years in customer success, performance optimisation.
- Hands on use of AI productivity tools, such as Microsoft Copilot.
- AI enabled productivity improvement and a sharp instinct for spotting automation opportunities.
Previous experience in a database-centric, web-enabled environment.
Ability to perform database tuning working with SQL queries, indexes, statistics, database views.
Understanding of database replication.
Understanding of web services and extension kit flows.
Experience of Java based application and Java containers (JBOSS, Wildfly).
Experience implementing systems into SaaS Azure infrastructures.
Knowledge of TCP/IP and fundamental networking concepts and protocols.
Personal Qualities

Logical thinker with an aptitude for problem-solving using a solid methodology.
Ability to work under pressure.
