Work location: Bergkirchen (relocating to Unterschleißheim at the end of 2027)

As part of our transformation journey and to strengthen our dynamic global IT team, we are looking for an experienced IT Systems Administrator (m/f/d). In this key role, you will be responsible for implementing, testing, maintaining, and supporting the IT systems within our new Fulfilment Center in Unterschleißheim, from the initial build-out through go-live and ongoing operations. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems while supporting evolving business requirements. Key activities are outlined below but may vary depending on business needs.

  • Drive recurring-issue reduction and service improvement.
  • Hands-on IT support or field-engineering experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing or other operationally critical environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows endpoints, Android or mobile devices, printers, scanners, wired and wireless networks, identity/access and common enterprise applications.
  • Experience installing, commissioning and supporting operational devices, with disciplined use of checklists, asset records and technical documentation.
  • Working knowledge of ITIL-aligned incident, request, problem and change practices, including prioritisation by business impact and urgency.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple vendors and internal resolver teams while maintaining clear ownership and communication.
  • Professional communication skills in German and English, suitable for warehouse users, technical specialists and suppliers.

Desirable:

  • Exposure to WMS and ERP environments, integration platforms and warehouse automation such as AutoStore, conveyors, MFC/PLC systems or automated print/pack solutions.
  • Experience with Zebra handhelds, forklift terminals, enterprise Wi-Fi diagnostics, device management, Active Directory or comparable IAM, and monitoring tools.
  • Participation in a new site, warehouse migration, major technology rollout, cutover or hypercare programme.
  • Relevant technical or IT service management certification; knowledge of ISO 27001 control expectations.

In addition to a secure job in an internationally successful, fast-growing and family-friendly group of companies, you can also expect:
