AKS Engineer

Design, deploy, and manage production/non-production AKS clusters with HA, node pools, and autoscaling.

 Manage Kubernetes workloads (Pods, Deployments, StatefulSets, Services, Ingress).

 Implement container lifecycle processes using Docker and ACR.

 Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

 Configure Azure Networking (VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, AGIC).

 Enforce security standards: RBAC, Entra ID integration, Pod Security Standards, and Key Vault secrets management.

 Provision infrastructure via IaC using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.

 Monitor cluster health and performance using Azure Monitor and Grafana.

 Perform cluster maintenance (upgrades, patching, capacity planning, cost optimization) and root-cause analysis.

 Collaborate with dev teams to onboard applications and maintain runbooks/operational documentation.
