Investment Operations - Operational Effectiveness

Meraki Talent is delighted to be partnering with a global banking client that is establishing a new team in Glasgow.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team at a pivotal stage in its development. In this role, you will support multiple business areas across operational processing, reviews, reporting and issue resolution, while helping to drive operational excellence and strategic change.
We are keen to hear from candidates with a proven track record in derivatives, private equity and/or hedge fund operations, who thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities will include;

• Collaborate with teams across the firm to align, integrate and enhance operational processes.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions to optimise operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement operational procedures and controls to mitigate risk and maintain robust operational standards.
• Prepare reports and presentations on operational performance, communicating key findings and insights to senior stakeholders.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments, identifying opportunities to adopt best practices across banking operations.
• Contribute to projects and strategic initiatives designed to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support automation initiatives and drive continuous improvement across operational workflows.
• Work closely with onshore and offshore teams to deliver consistent, effective and efficient operational outcomes.

  
As part of this growing team, you will play an instrumental role in developing specialist knowledge across a range of investment products. You will have the opportunity to contribute to process optimisation, lead automation initiatives and help shape the future of the team's operational framework.  Working in a fast-paced, detail-focused environment, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to support strategic change, strengthen controls and deliver operational excellence.
Additionally, applicants should have an understanding of financial services regulations, including SRD2, CASS, CBI, JFSC, GCMA, Companies Act.
This is a permanent role, offering a hybrid approach to work.
