Job Description

Crest Cadillac & Acura is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our established and growing service team. We are looking for a skilled professional who takes pride in their work, can confidently diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues, and is committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers.

What You'll Do

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance-related vehicle concerns
  • Perform manufacturer warranty repairs, recall work, and maintenance services in accordance with factory standards
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify and resolve vehicle issues
  • Inspect vehicles and recommend necessary repairs and maintenance services
  • Communicate findings and repair recommendations with Service Advisors and management
  • Test drive vehicles as needed to verify concerns and confirm repairs
  • Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional automotive repair experience preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience repairing domestic, import, and luxury vehicles
  • Ability to diagnose and repair electrical, engine, driveline, steering, suspension, and brake systems
  • Proficiency using diagnostic scanners, computerized repair systems, and shop equipment
  • Valid New York State driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • ASE Certifications
  • NYS Inspector Certification
  • Acura, Honda, Cadillac, or General Motors dealership experience
  • Automotive Technology degree or technical school training
