Java Lead 10+ Only - W2

Role : Java Lead
Location  : St Louis, MO (Hybrid)

Job Description:
•    Lead the design and development of enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
•    Provide technical leadership to Java development teams, conduct code reviews, and establish engineering best practices.
•    Design scalable, resilient, and secure solutions capable of supporting high-volume financial transactions.
•    Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, distributed services, messaging, and third-party systems.
•    Work with architects and business teams to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions.
•    Drive application modernization, cloud adoption, performance optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
•    Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide root-cause analysis and sustainable solutions.
•    Implement automated unit, integration, and performance testing while maintaining high code quality.
•    Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud deployments.
•    Mentor developers and contribute to technical standards, architecture decisions, and engineering documentation.

Required Qualifications 
•    10+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development, with 2+ years in a technical lead role.
•    Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Microservices.
•    Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, SQL, and relational databases.
•    Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, MQ, or similar platforms.
•    Strong understanding of distributed systems, multithreading, concurrency, design patterns, and performance tuning.
•    Experience with Git, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes.
•    Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
•    Excellent communication, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
