CT Tech

• Location: Jacksonville, FL
• Facility: Ascension St. Vincent's Freestanding ED
• Scheduled: Night shift | PRN

• Execute precision imaging to provide high-quality diagnostic data for accurate patient treatment plans.
• Optimize patient comfort through expert positioning and empathetic care during complex scan procedures.
• Ensure clinical safety by managing contrast administration and strictly adhering to all regulatory standards.
• Drive protocol excellence by recommending technical refinements that improve image clarity and efficiency.
• Prioritize radiation safety using ALARA principles to protect patients and the healthcare team.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Radiologic Technology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. NMTCB(CT) Computed Tomography Specialty
    Certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography required in addition to CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialty also accepted.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• 1+ years of CT experience
• 1+ years of X-ray experience
