About the Role

Advance Thinking is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support a leading Australian organisation operating across healthcare, aged care, insurance and financial services. This is a highly collaborative, business-facing architecture role, working across multiple technology platforms and business functions to design practical solutions, provide technical guidance and support strategic technology initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with senior business and technology stakeholders, helping navigate complex technical challenges while ensuring solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture discussions and workshops with senior business leaders, technology teams, cybersecurity specialists and external vendors.
• Provide solution architecture guidance and technical direction across multiple business domains and initiatives.
• Develop solution architecture documentation, assess design options and present recommendations for architectural endorsement.
• Support Enterprise Architecture in developing technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Design and review solutions across diverse platforms, including healthcare systems, billing and finance, workforce management, cybersecurity and enterprise integration.
• Collaborate with delivery teams and business stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and ensure solutions are fit for purpose.
• Manage competing priorities and adapt to evolving business requirements and technology environments.

What We're Looking For: Essential experience

• Proven experience as a Senior Solution Architect working across complex enterprise environments.
• Strong solution design, architecture documentation and governance experience.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Broad technical understanding across enterprise applications, integration platforms, cloud and security.
• Experience working across multiple initiatives, business functions and technology environments.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, practical recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong business engagement, problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Highly regarded

• Experience in healthcare, aged care, residential care or community services.
• Exposure to healthcare platforms, billing and finance systems, workforce management or enterprise integration.
• Experience supporting technology roadmaps and enterprise architecture strategy.
• Experience working in complex, regulated environments.
