Hours: Night shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Rate: £350 per night
The Opportunity
We are currently looking for experienced Electricians to join a school project in Northampton, with a minimum of 5 months’ work available.
The work will involve carrying out 1st and 2nd fix electrical installation works within a school environment. This is an excellent opportunity for Electricians looking for consistent, long-term work with a competitive night rate.
Reliability, good workmanship and a strong commitment to health and safety are essential.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out 1st fix electrical installation work.
- Completing 2nd fix electrical installation work.
- Installing electrical wiring, containment and associated equipment.
- Working from electrical drawings and specifications.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
- Following site health and safety procedures.
- Working effectively alongside other trades on site.
- Qualified Electrician with relevant installation experience.
- ECS/JIB Gold Card required.
- Previous experience carrying out 1st and 2nd fix electrical work.
- Enhanced DBS preferred - if not, must be willing to do it.
- Candidates without an Enhanced DBS must be willing to obtain one, as the project is based at a school.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to commit to night shifts.
- Good understanding of electrical health and safety requirements.
Pay and Working Hours
- £350 per night.
- Night shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM.
- Minimum 5 months’ work available.
- School project based in Northampton.
