TPF Testing Analyst

We are seeking an experienced TPF Testing Analyst with 5+ years of experience in the airline industry and Sabre-based applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating critical airline reservation, ticketing, departure control, and related business functions running on the TPF (Transaction Processing Facility) platform. This role requires strong functional and technical testing expertise, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced airline technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements related to airline reservation and passenger service systems.
• Create and execute comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for TPF-based applications.
• Validate airline business processes including:
• Passenger Reservations
• Ticketing
• Check-in and Departure Control
• Inventory Management
• Schedule Management
• Fare Quote and Pricing
• Execute testing in Sabre PSS and related airline applications.
• Analyze TPF transaction outputs, logs, messages, and application data.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects through resolution.
• Coordinate with development, business analysts, and product teams to ensure quality deliverables.
• Participate in release validation, production support, and post-implementation testing.
• Support UAT activities and provide testing status reports to project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance methodologies and testing standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of software testing experience with at least 3+ years supporting airline applications.
• Hands-on experience in TPF/ALCS environments.
• Strong knowledge of Sabre Passenger Service Systems (PSS).
• Experience in functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
• Ability to create detailed test cases and execute complex test scenarios.
• Experience using defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or similar.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of airline industry workflows and business processes.
• Familiarity with EDI, GDS, and airline message formats.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Understanding of SQL and data validation techniques.
• Exposure to automation testing tools is an added advantage.
• Experience with airline interfaces and integrations.
