MP_IET_5 : Industrial Engineer & Lean Manufacturing Expert

Continental AG has a strong and established presence in India, with its tire business focused primarily on the premium Passenger Car and Light Truck (PLT) segment. The company operates its PLT manufacturing facility at Modipuram, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, supported by sales and distribution operations headquartered in Faridabad and an IT Hub in Bengaluru.

Able to improve manufacturing productivity, efficiency, capacity utilization, manpower utilization, and cost competitiveness by applying Industrial Engineering principles, data analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Data analysis and problem solving
• Excel,Power BI and analytical tools
• Process optimization and line balancing.
• Communication and stakeholder management
• Continuous improvement mindset

• B.Tech./B.E. in Industrial Engineering.
• Good knowledge of Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing. 
• Training or certification in Industrial Engineering, Work Measurement, Time Study, VSM, Kaizen, and Ergonomics.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, data analysis, and ERP/SAP systems.
• Sound knowledge of OEE, capacity planning, line balancing, manpower planning, and productivity improvement.
• 03–05 years of relevant experience in any manufacturing industry.

Experience in tire industries will be preferred. Experience in automotive, or other process/manufacturing industries will be an added advantage.
