COMPENSATION  $ 33.00 per hour on a W2, then convert to full-time after 1 year at $ 65,900 plus benefits. 

LOCATION

100% onsite - 1501 South Clinton St. Baltimore MD 21224
Training: 3 weeks. Then chairside training an addt’l 3 weeks alongside another Functional Analyst. The schedule during Training is 8 to 4:30. After training the resource can start as early as 7am – 9am.

PLEASE NOTE - Must have a laptop during the contracting phase - once converted to FTE status, the client will provide a laptop or desktop  machine.

My direct client  is seeking a Healthcare Claims Functional Analyst to support our client, a major Healthcare organization. This position is 100% onsite in Baltimore Maryland (M-F) and is a Contract to Permanent opportunity with our client.
The selected candidate will analyze Healthcare Claims information in different formats (mostly MS Excel), then enter/map this information into our clients benefits system. Provides Operations Support by obtaining facts; analyzing problems; designing solutions; developing testing methods; conducting and documenting tests; providing operating information to customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Research and improve operations by examining and researching systems problems by obtaining facts, analyzing problems/identifying root cause recommending and facilitating resolution.
Supports operations systems by providing operating information to customers; answering questions; providing training.
Contributes to operations analysis and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results, development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and other essential documentation,
Verifies operations systems by developing testing methods; conducting and documenting tests.
Improves operations analysis job knowledge by attending training sessions; reading technical publications.

REQUIRED SKILLS  

Education Level: HS or GED is required. BS Degree is preferred.
Experience: 2+ year + BS Degree (6 years if no degree)
2 years experience within a Healthcare Insurance environment, analyzing/validating claims data for proper entry.
Must have strong MS Excel experience (Pivot Tables, v-Look ups, etc..)
Must have strong Data Entry skills
Must have strong knowledge around claims processing

ICD 9/10 Coding
SW Tools: FixIT and/or Adobe
Luminex
Oracle
