Position Overview

KayDev Technology is seeking an experienced professional for a 30-month opportunity with OASS in Albany, NY. The position requires extensive experience with financial-reporting data, SQL and relational databases, advanced statistical and model calculations, data workflows and pipelines, reporting automation, business intelligence, and cloud-based data platforms.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• At least 84 months of experience in data engineering, data architecture, data governance, or data quality assurance for financial reporting

• At least 84 months of experience with SQL and relational database management systems (RDBMS), including querying complex datasets

• At least 84 months of experience compiling, computing, and validating financial data using advanced statistical formulas and model calculations

• At least 48 months of experience building and maintaining data workflows and data pipelines using database tools, specifically translating business requirements into technical specifications

• At least 36 months of experience automating data ingestion and reporting using programming languages such as Python, R, or Excel VBA

• At least 36 months of experience in data visualization using business intelligence software, preferably Tableau

• At least 24 months of experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably Snowflake

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related field
