About the Role
Our client, a global leader in the food and consumer packaged goods industry, is seeking an Information Technology, Support professional to join its HR technology team. This role is responsible for configuring, supporting, and enhancing workforce scheduling and HR systems that improve the employee experience, support global HR operations, and deliver business value across a large, diverse workforce.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical troubleshooting skills, systems configuration experience, and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to develop and implement effective technology solutions. This position offers the opportunity to support critical workforce scheduling capabilities while contributing to ongoing HR technology initiatives in a complex, global environment.

Job Description
The Information Technology, Support position serves as a key resource for HR systems, workforce scheduling solutions, and related technology processes. This individual will partner with internal stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to support system performance, drive process improvements, and ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a resource for global HR systems, processes, data, and technology initiatives, with a primary focus on workforce scheduling and plant shift scheduling capabilities.
  • Provide day-to-day support for HR technology systems and ensure ongoing system health, performance, and sustainability.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot workforce scheduling applications, integrations, and related system functionality.
  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through technology and process enhancements.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications and recommendations.
  • Assess the impact of process changes on systems, data, and technology while identifying potential risks and constraints.
  • Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to support projects, enhancements, and system implementations.
  • Lead and support initiatives through discovery, planning, configuration, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
  • Develop and execute quality assurance and user acceptance testing activities, including the creation of test scripts and validation plans.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation related to system changes, processes, and configurations.
  • Communicate system updates and process changes to users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Stay informed on emerging HR technologies and workforce management trends to recommend future improvements and innovations.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS), Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting and delivering complex technology solutions.
  • Experience configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting workforce management, scheduling, timekeeping, or attendance applications.
  • Understanding of integrations between scheduling, workforce management, and time and attendance systems.
  • Experience gathering and translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience supporting production environments and ongoing operational support activities.
  • Ability to effectively manage relationships with third-party vendors and contractors.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and think critically to develop effective solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS), Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting and delivering complex technology solutions.
  • Experience with Infor Workforce Management (WFM).
  • Experience with Indeavor workforce scheduling software.
  • Experience with similar workforce management and scheduling platforms such as Shiftboard, Infor APS, or related solutions.
  • Experience with reporting, analytics, and workforce data analysis.
  • Knowledge of HR technology ecosystems and workforce optimization tools within manufacturing or operational environments.
