Job Description

IDR is seeking a Quality Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Centennial, CO.
This role is centered around supporting a large-scale measurement system improvement initiative in a regulated manufacturing environment, with a focus on ensuring product quality and measurement accuracy. The company operates within the medical device industry, emphasizing high standards of quality and compliance.

Position Overview for the Quality Engineer:
  • Support a major Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility (Gage R&R) initiative as part of a comprehensive medical device quality integration project.
  • Perform dimensional inspections, measurement system analysis, and first article inspections.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T to validate inspection processes.
  • Utilize precision measurement tools and statistical software to analyze measurement system performance.
  • Independently execute assigned Gage R&R activities, collaborating with the quality team to improve measurement systems.

Requirements for the Quality Engineer:
  • 2+ years of Quality Engineering or Quality Inspection experience.
  • Hands-on experience performing Gage R&R studies and Measurement System Analysis (MSA).
  • Experience performing first article inspections and dimensional inspections.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T.
  • Strong understanding of statistical principles (using software like Minitab, Excel, or similar).
