REQ Notes: The team is looking to hire a PMM contractor who will build out foundational assets and sales materials for healthcare and other emerging industries. Will start as a 6-month contract, extending to 12-18 months if they are doing well.

The types of candidates they are looking for:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience
  • Relevant B2B product marketing and content experience
  • Experience working with sales teams and cross-functional partners
  • Experience marketing to an industry (e.g. Healthcare, CPG, Manufacturing, etc.)
  • Interest in industry product marketing and a hands-on contractor role
  • Ideally located in NYC, but anywhere in US is fine
  • Ability to communicate concisely and clearly and work independently while being effective cross-functional collaborators

About the team

Our Product Marketing team's mission is to generate customer insights that inform Stripe's product strategy, and lead go-to-market for our suite of products. Product Marketing is a highly cross-functional role at Stripe, partnering closely with Product and Engineering, Sales, Partnerships, Demand Generation and Campaigns to name a few. Different from many other Product Marketing teams, our team works across the entire product lifecycle, from helping shape the product, to driving launch and commercialization, to growing product adoption post-launch.

We are looking for an experienced product marketer to build foundational assets, sales materials, and event content for healthcare and emerging industries. In this role, you will develop messaging and positioning, craft the narrative for how our products deliver value to customers, build a pitch deck for sellers, a web page to bring the messaging to life, and engage teams across sales, campaigns, demand generation, and product to drive overall awareness, pipeline, and revenue across Stripe's existing customer base and prospects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop messaging and positioning, sales enablement assets, web page, and event content for healthcare and emerging industries
  • Work closely with product, partnerships, and partner marketing (demand generation) teams to build a marketing strategy, with the goal of driving awareness, demand, and usage of our products
  • Enable sales teams to understand the value of our products and competitive solutions

  • 7+ years prior product marketing experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience translating technical features into benefits for a technical audience
