.Net Solution Architect GenAI & SDLC Transformation at Newark, NJ (3 days onsite) || Contract

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with hands-on expertise in Generative AI tools such as Claude and GitHub Copilot to lead the adoption of AI across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). The role will focus on designing architecture, governance, and best practices for integrating GenAI into software engineering processes to improve developer productivity, code quality, and delivery efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the GenAI adoption strategy across SDLC.
• Design architecture and governance for AI-assisted software development.
• Lead implementation of GitHub Copilot, Claude, and AI-powered engineering workflows.
• Identify opportunities to automate coding, testing, documentation, code reviews, and DevOps processes using GenAI.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and DevOps teams to establish AI best practices and standards.
• Ensure security, compliance, and responsible AI adoption across development teams.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of Solution Architecture / Enterprise Architecture experience.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot and Claude AI.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Application Architecture, Cloud, and DevOps.
• Experience with LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG, AI Agents, and GenAI solutions.
• Expertise in driving enterprise-wide technology transformation initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude.
• Agentic AI and AI orchestration frameworks.
• CI/CD, GitHub ecosystem, and Developer Productivity platforms.
• TOGAF, Azure Architect, or related certifications.
