1. Dynatrace Architecture & Implementation
   • Expert-level experience designing, deploying, and configuring Dynatrace in complex environments (including integrations, alerting, and dashboarding).
2. AWS Cloud Expertise
   • Deep hands-on knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.) and best practices for secure, scalable architectures.
3. Microservices Architecture
   • Strong understanding of microservices design, deployment, and troubleshooting in cloud-native environments.
4. Containerization (Docker & ECS)
   • Advanced skills with Docker, ECS (Elastic Container Service), and container orchestration (including networking, scaling, and security).
5. Monitoring & Observability
   • Deep experience with CloudWatch, Dynatrace, and other monitoring/alerting tools for distributed systems.
6. Troubleshooting & Reverse Engineering
   • Ability to analyze, debug, and reverse engineer issues across distributed AWS-based microservices.
7. Automation & Infrastructure as Code
   • Proficiency with automation tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines) for repeatable infrastructure and application deployments.
8. Collaboration & Communication
   • Strong communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and documenting technical solutions.

This is how the evaluation will be done:

• As part of the selection process for the Dynatrace observability role, we would like you to prepare a PowerPoint presentation.
• The role is focused on delivering new end-to-end Dynatrace monitoring, dashboarding and alerting for customer-facing digital services built on a modern microservice-based architecture.
• The environment includes AWS-hosted digital services delivered through infrastructure as code, APIs, microservices, containers, cloud infrastructure, databases and downstream dependencies.
• Presentation must be showing how you have previously led or delivered this type of work using Dynatrace and the considerations involved.
• Customer is interested in the full end-to-end process you followed, from initial service understanding through rollout of Dynatrace data collectors, dashboard build/design, and integrated alerting design.
• Include the key pitfalls, challenges or issues that had to be navigated, and how you addressed them.
• Base the presentation on work you have personally delivered or been directly involved in.
• This role requires hands-on Dynatrace experience, so please keep the presentation focused on Dynatrace and be specific about the exact Dynatrace technology you have used.
• Customer is not looking for a generic observability overview or a sales-style presentation. We are looking to understand what you have actually done, how you think, the issues you have had to navigate, and how you would apply that experience to this role.
