SEN / SEND Tutor | Leamington Spa, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

The Role

• Provide in-person, online, or hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5, planning and delivering trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Work with referrals from local authorities and schools, tailoring educational approaches to individual needs.
• Plan lessons, report on progress, and provide regular feedback to students.
• Contribute to a mission of raising educational standards for vulnerable learners.
• Engage in self-employed work as opportunities arise.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science at various key stages.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and creating safe learning environments.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
