Workday HCM – Payroll, Absence Management

The project involves Workday configuration support within the Compensation and HCM Core areas of Workday. The project is part of a Payroll Modernization effort in which there may be compensation elements that are within our Payroll application that will need to be identified, defined and configured in Workday. Additionally there may be some data fields that reside in our Payroll application that will need to be analyzed to determine if they should be brought into Workday or dispositioned differently. The resource will play a critical role in configuring Workday, troubleshooting issues, and possibly developing reports. They will collaborate closely with Compensation, Payroll and other cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, align on solutions, and ensure successful implementation of Workday compensation configurations and processes aligned with RTX design principles

Desired Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
• Skill/Experience 1: Demonstrated strong experience configuring and supporting Workday HCM Core and Compensation
• Skill/Experience 2: Strong skills in Workday business processes, security configuration, reporting, calculated fields, eligibility and condition rules, and EIBs, with the ability to design and implement scalable configuration changes
• Skill/Experience 3: Proven ability to troubleshoot cross module issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with technical and functional teams to resolve configuration defects that affect payroll outcomes
• Skill/Experience 4: Understanding of how HCM Core and Compensation configuration drives downstream payroll results, with the ability to assess payroll impacts for configuration changes
• Optional Experience: Aerospace/Defense Contractor or Large Manufacturing
